Our Culture

We are ‘big but small’ and ‘feel like a family’ – these are some of the key themes that came out of a recent workshop we ran with staff where we explored what they felt was great about working for Interflora.

We’re a big, iconic and incredibly recognisable and successful brand but with a workforce of just 250 people, everyone is treated as an individual and with a personal-touch, which gives us that special, close-knit ‘family’ feel.

We have a huge extended family of around 1500 florists that work alongside us to deliver life’s most important gifts and sentiments – delivering true happiness to our customers.

We love working together – collaborating and engaging. As much as we are a digital organisation that embraces technology, we love face to face communication, believing that business should be done on relationships and conversations - preferring to communicate with each other the old-fashioned way with a coffee and a chat. We have a very friendly and relaxed culture where doors are always open and knowledge and ideas are openly shared.

We have regular events and ‘get togethers’. Our summer event happens each year and gives all colleagues the chance to get out of the office and have a bit of fun with team games and events such as Rounders, Human Table Football, mini-golf and tombolas.

We have quarterly brown-bag ‘lunch and learn’ session where colleagues are encouraged to get that learning bug with topics from learning how to use LinkedIn, to how to ensure you get a good night’s sleep right through to how to make a floral table decoration or ‘flowers to wear’.
